Regarding Rover
All of the businesses listed below are commercial kennel facilities, meaning your dog will be kept in their own space in the same room with many other dogs when they are not being walked or at a designated play time. This is industry standard and done for their safety, but may not be appropriate for shy, nervous, or reactive dogs.
Rover is an excellent alternative for care to the commercial kennel environment while you're away. HOWEVER. Do your research and plan ahead. While there are some wonderful caregivers on the site, they usually book out well in advance, leaving your selection pool much smaller.
